Giacomo Bonaventura extends AC Milan contract until 2020

Giacomo Bonaventura joined AC Milan in 2014.

AC Milan have announced that midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura has extended his contract with the club until 2020.

Bonaventura, who signed for the Rossoneri from Atalanta in 2014, has made 83 Serie A appearances for the club.

“AC Milan announces that Giacomo Bonaventura has renewed his contract with the club until 30th June 2020,” a Milan statement read.

Bonaventura has scored two goals in 17 Serie A outings for Milan this season, while he also netted the equaliser in the 1-1 Supercoppa draw with Juventus, scoring again in the ensuing penalty shootout which saw the Rossoneri lift the trophy in Doha.

The midfielder also scored the winning goal in Milan’s 2-1 Coppa Italia win over Torino last week.
